Cocoa, peach, baked fruits.
The story of Finca San Isidro began in 1975, when Mr. Adan Duke began growing arabica coffee at Finca San Isidro, a picturesque farm located in the lush mountains south of Copán Ruinas, Honduras. Over the past 8 years Duke’s family has transitioned from conventional coffee production to specialty coffee production. Behind their unquestionable success stands Katia, Adan’s daughter, who spent most of her youth on the farm and was dedicated to follow the tradition of her parents. She combined father’s legacy with the knowledge gained at the prestigious San Morano agronomic university and now, after years of struggle, her effort has given many fruits. We had a pleasure to meet Katia at Producer-Roaster Forum in Guatemala while tasting her coffees which, objectively speaking, were the best on the table. As the fresh crop was harvested without hesitation we wanted to bring those delicious coffees for the first time to Europe.
